This book has been so amazing to go through. I need more of Jesus everyday. More of Him less of me. I can do nothing on my own. I need His strength everyday..
2 Corinthians 3:5-6
Now that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weakness, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ then, I am content with weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions,and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Well, Its happened. The Green Bay Packers are going to the Super Bowl. I am still in complete shock. I just never thought it would happen again. They went to the Super Bowl when I was like 11, and they got beat by the Denver Broncos, but they had won the year before, and I remember the craziness that it was. I thought during yesterdays game, my father who has been a die hard Packer fan all his life may cry or have heart attack, and I thought some of the others who were at the Packer Party we were at; we would have to shuttle them to the hospital for heart issues.
But thankfully, we did not. It was a splendid party, a great time with friends, and tons of memeories. We will all be together again for the Super Bowl, and hopefully celebrating with a Victory. Its gonna be a LONG 2 weeks.....
Today, once again I am so so thankful for the work done for me at the cross. I was/am humbled again today for what was done for me there. This book that I am going through, just makes me so thankful for His forgiveness, makes me see my sin,and my wickedness, and so utterly thankful for His unbelievable grace. I am undeserving. I am nothing. I am gonna leave you with some quotes that struck me this afternoon from my book...
Guilt ignores the cross, but remembering our sin should drive us to the cross.
Not only do I recognize that I deserve none of this, but I also love the fact that I don't deserve any of this.

Just returned last night from the youth retreat. What an incredible weekend it was. Even with a trip to the hospital, for one student,(she's okay ;)It was still such an amazing weekend. God worked in so many hearts, it was incredible.
Wayne and Carol spoke the truth so clearly, and I believe people were convicted with sin in their lives and changes that they need to make as well.
The most exciting part was that at least 2 that I know of gave their lives over to Christ, and now join His kingdom. Amazing. We heard testimonies from our college age group and a youth leader. So real, and so great. God is good, and faithful, and so loving.
Worship was once again this year, so , so, good. I must admit I am not an emotional person, but when I speak of something so dear and close to me, like family or close friends, I may shed some tears, But our last morning of worship it was so awesome, the Lord was moving and my eyes welled up and a tear streamed down my face. It was amazing. What an amazing God we serve. All glory to Him.
Ha, and of course there was no missing the Green Bay Packer game either. It was projected on the large screen in the gathering area, and many gathered to watch the Packers beat the Eagles.
Broomball was in full force this year. I think I played more this year than any other year, with many bruises to prove this. My broomball team even made it past the first round of the tournament, ending in the 2nd round with a shoot out. Oh well. Guess there's next year :)
The food was good, the weather was freezing, and the Lord worked in so many lives. It was awesome.
Well, the time has come again for the Youth Group's annual winter retreat to Fort Wilderness.!! We will be hitting the road (hopefully and Lord willing ;) around 4:30 on Friday. The kids are pumped, the leaders are pumped, and the snowmobiling suit is being dusted off. I am truly excited about how the Lord is going to be working this year. I ask that you would be praying for us as leaders, and also for the students. Pray that their hearts would be softened, and be able to recognize who Christ is, and what He has done for us. And for us leaders, pray that the Lord would give us wisdom as we pray and spend time with the students, and He would give us the rest and energy that we need for the weekend, because sometimes towards the end of the weekend, we get pretty wiped :). Pray for Wayne and Carol Beilgard who will be our speakers for the weekend. May the Lord speak through them. Pray for safety as we travel, for rest, and just for a great time!!!
My new book I am going through in my alone time with the Lord....I am excited to see what the Lord wants to show me in this journey as I go through this book.
